Oil-water separation equipment

Release time:2026-04-15 11:17:33 page views:

Oil-water separation equipment
It is an environmentally friendly equipment that uses physical (gravity, air flotation, centrifugation, filtration) or chemical principles to separate oil, water, and solid impurities in oily liquids. The core is
oil removal, standard discharge, anti-blocking, grease recovery

First, the core working principle (physics-based)

1.
Gravity separation (the most basic)
Utilize oil (
0.8–0.95

Applicable: Large particle oil slick (
> 150μm

2.
Coagulation (coarse graining) separation
Small oil droplets collide with corrugated plates and fiber materials to form large oil droplets, which are easy to float.

Applicable: dispersed oil (
20-150μm

3.
air flotation separation
Micro bubbles adhere to oil droplets and float to treat emulsified oil and oil with a density near water.

Applicable: industrial emulsion, petrochemical wastewater.

4.
centrifugal separation
High-speed rotation generates strong centrifugal force, rapid stratification, and a small footprint.

Applicable: ship, vehicle, small size and high demand scenarios.

5.
filter
/
吸附
Hydrophilic and oleophobic materials allow water to pass through and cut oil; deep oil removal is possible.

Applicable: deep purification of water outlet (
≤10mg/L
)。

II. Main types and applications

Unpowered: Gravity
+

Fully automatic (
GBOS

Machining: Purifying cutting fluid
/

oil
/

Ship: compliant
IMO 15ppm

Compressed air oil-water separator: remove water, oil and impurities from gas.

underground
/

III. Comparison with traditional grease traps

grease trap
Gravity only, no power, efficiency
60–70%

Oil-water separator
Composite technology, efficiency
95%+

IV. Selection points

1.
processing object
Catering (animal and vegetable oils)
/

2.
throughput

m³/h

3.
precision
Oil content of the effluent (catering)
≤15mg/L
The industry
≤30mg/L
)。

4.
install
: ground
/

5.
function
: Slag removal, heating, automatic oil discharge, lifting, intelligent control.

V. Core Values

Environmental compliance and avoidance of fines

Prevent pipeline blockage and reduce dredging

Oil recovery (biodiesel, etc.)

Extend equipment life, reduce operation and maintenance
